Machines with Character.

I love these rusty and colourful old machines. Some times I feel like I’m taking a portrait  of a person rather than a picture of a machine. There is so much to character to read in the wear and tear, the parts lost or gained from else where and the uniqueness of each vehicle.

The hours just seem to fly by while wandering round these splendid yards full of history and charm which only comes with age.

Though I can’t just take the picture and go,there’s something about making contact which the beast. It’s about coming in front of the lens for a moment and interacting which the subject. When looking back at a image I recall the texture, the coldness and the strength that making contact gives you.
